My Bully jumps to some people when meeting / walking by (...still young)

    Hi,

I have a young Bulldog (female, just 8 months old now). Many times when we walk by other pedestrians (without dogs) or when we meet people at home she tries to jump to them to say "hello". Because we don't want her to jump to people, even she is very friendly and doesn't bite or anything, we try to train her to stop doing that. We tried different things...none worked yet. Do you have any ideas....or do I just need to give it more time and patience? Like I said, she doesn't do it to bite or because of any agression....she's just so playful and wants to "greet" everybody.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello!

I'm running into the same problem with my EB (he's 9months). He is overly friendly towards humans and consistently wants to jump all over them and soak up their attention. What methods have you already tried to break her of the habit?
