    potty training

Hello! I have a 10 month old male and am having difficulty potty training. I tried the crate training and he would always wet in the crate and lay in it. I now am just trying to take him out often during the day and at nite I give him a bed and put a potty mat at the door where he goes out. Instead of using the mat, he goes in his bed and again, lays in it!. I even find him marking my other bullies' bed, so both beds are wet and both dog smell of urine! Am I confusing the dog by putting both a mat and a bed down?

i have had trouble with my bully with pp pads and their dog beds in the bedroom. i think alot say dont use them but she has to go somewhere when she is home alone for 12 hours sometimes. they say nothing in the crate if they pp on it or chew on it. it will take time to get a routine down. a solid no and then take them out.
