New to the forum and new to owning a bulldog :)

Hello! My name is Rhiannon. I recently (March 13, 2012) became an owner of a very lovey English Bulldog. Her name is Remmi. She is aproximately 1 years old. She is a very loving dog and has a funny personalitly. It has been a whole different experience with her though lol. I joined here because I am having behavioral issues with her and they are about to drive me mad!!! I did some research initially and well before owning her because I've always wanted a bulldog and have always loved them. However, I am beginning to get the "I'm drowning in doggie issues" feeling and I'm hoping joining here can help. One thing I can say is no matter how badly Miss Remmi misbehaves I still can't help but love her and it's difficult to stay mad. :)

Welcome to the site. We hope the behavioral issues get resolved soon. Bulldogs can be a little stubborn, so extra patience is needed. And I agree with you on how difficult it is to stay mad at them.

I have TONS of those with my boy, too. He likes to eat... everything! Just count to 10... real slow... that helps me sometimes. :) Good luck!

Thanks! :) I have heard it takes 6-9 months for dogs to adjust to new homes so I'm giving her lots of time and patience and love! She just graduated her obedience class yesterday!!! Woo! :) And she is getting fixed the end of this month so I'm hoping all of these little things lead her in the right direction. And I sure hope she knows how much I love her stubborn little butt! :)
